Nelson St. Reconstruction

Nelson St. Reconstruction

It's great to see a plan come together. Nelson Street in Port Dover is entering the final stages with surface reinstatement and the final major connection of the watermain to the municipal system. This watermain comes directly out of the water treatment plant and services the entire community. Organization and planning was critical for this connection. Andrew Tulk and Jeff Wright are monitoring the connection installation in the field today to ensure quality and to be able to proactively address any issues in the field. Looking forward to some after pictures very soon. WT Infrastructure Solutions Inc. is looking for designers and experienced field inspectors

Saying good-bye to the rural cross-section at the west end of Port Dover on Nelson Street. Curb is in, storm sewer is operating, watermain is tested and now to get some pavement on the ground while the weather is willing. We're excited to provide the residents in this area with some nice fresh asphalt before Christmas. This project is approximately 900 m long and involved some complex connections to both storm and water systems.
