The existing pavement of the asphalt playground of Chedoke Elementary school were heavily distressed and had exceeded their serviceable life. Replacement of the asphalt pavement of the playground area was completed in Summer 2022 along with similar projects for a playground pavement retrofit at Ridgemount Elementary School and a parking lot pavement retrofit at Mountview Elementary School in Hamilton for the HWDSB.
WT prepared tender drawings and specifications for the replacement of the asphalt at each of the sites, assisted with the tendering process and provided contract administration and site review for each of the sites.
